100 years of Indian Hockey

It was 99 years ago, on November 7, 1925, that the first national body for hockey was formed in Gwalior.
It is now entering the 100th year of Indian hockey, a year-long celebration has been announced by Hockey India.
Indian team saw the team winning six gold medals in a row.
Till date, India's record of eight Olympic gold medals in total is unmatched.
