- Under the new Act, the punishment for sexual assault will be not less than 7 years, which may extend to 10 years, along with a fine.
- The new bill mandates that evidence from a child be recorded within 7 days.
- The special court is required to complete the trial within 30 days.
- Punishment For Aggravated Penetrative Sexual Assault is rigorous imprisonment for life, and also a fine, or with death.
