  • The West Bengal and Bihar are impacted the most by arsenic contamination of groundwater.

  • It is an odourless and tasteless metalloid widely distributed in the earth’s crust.
  • WHO’s current recommended limit of arsenic in drinking-water is 10 μg/L.
