Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex – Madhya Pradesh

The Archaeological Survey of India submitted its scientific survey report on the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex.
The ASI report suggests that Bhojshala was once a significant educational center, established by King Bhoj.
The Hindu community considers Bhojshala, a 11th-century monument, as a temple of Vagdevi (Goddess Saraswati).
The Muslim side calls it Kamal Maula Mosque.
For the last 21 years, the Hindus are allowed to worship in the Bhojshala while Muslims are allowed to offer namaz at the place.
Sufi saint Maula Kamaluddin Chishti was a disciple of Nizamuddin Auliya.
He preached here for around 40 years around 1291.
