- The Union Civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu has launched Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) “electronic personnel license (EPL) for pilots.
- It will be making India the second country in the world after China to implement EPL for flight crew.
- Every time a pilot license is endorsed, or the same is renewed, will reflect in real time on the eGCA platform (e platform of DGCA).
