- The country’s mobile phone exports have crossed a very significant milestone, surpassing Rs 2 lakh crore in the financial year 2024-25.
- iPhone shipments alone contributed Rs 1.5 lakh crore to this figure, marking a remarkable 54% growth over the previous fiscal year.
- Electronics has catapulted to become the third-largest export segment from the country, hitting a record high of ₹3.27 trillion ($38.6 billion) in 2024-25 (FY25).
- With this, electronics, which was ranked fifth in the pecking order of exports in 2023-24.
