ISRO has successfully conducted a crucial test that will enable its largest rocket LVM3 to inject satellites into orbits at different altitudes, all in a single mission.
This restart capability is made possible due to the development of a 'multi-element ignitor'.
It can help restart the 'CE-20' Cryogenic engine that sits atop the LVM3 rocket.
The final stage of the LVM3 rocket has the Cryogenic engine that is responsible for placing satellites into different designated orbits (altitudes) in space.
