- Lok Sabha Speaker inaugurated the “Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0” initiative.
- It provides an insight into the Constitution and parliamentary procedures to over 500 women representatives from Panchayati Raj institutions from across the country.
- The programme has brought together 502 elected women representatives from Scheduled Tribes of 22 States and Union Territories.
- It empowers the elected women representatives of the Scheduled Tribes from the Panchayati Raj institutions and enhance their knowledge of the constitutional provisions, parliamentary procedures, and governance to foster the effective leadership.
