- Indian Railways has installed 2,249 solar power plants at railway stations and service buildings across the country.
- In the last five years, Indian Railways has installed 1,489 solar units, which is 2.3 times more than the 628 units installed in the preceding five years.
- Rajasthan has emerged as the leading state in this initiative, with around 275 installations, the highest among all states and Union Territories.
