- The Union Minister of Rural Development has launched a national level mass outreach campaign “Watershed Yatra”.
- It aims to generate the people’s participation and create the awareness about the Watershed Development activities carried out under the Watershed Development Component of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (WDC-PMKSY 2.0) in project areas.
- A total of about 800 Gram Panchayats and more than one lakh people have participated in the Watershed Yatra launch program.
