- The Maharashtra government's budget for 2021-22 offered one per cent concession in stamp duty if property is transferred in a woman's or women's name.
- In case of a joint ownership, the concession in stamp duty would not be given if there is a man as a joint owner with the woman i.e. “Both should be women”.
