- From 1st September 2019, Delhi government has launched a mega 10-week anti- mosquito campaign against “Dengue and Chikungunya”.
- The campaign aims to increase the participation of residents in preventing their spread.
- The initiative is titled ‘10 Hafte, 10 Baje, 10 Minute – Har Ravivar, Dengue par war’.
- As part of the campaign, the government has asked the people of Delhi to give 10 minutes every Sunday at 10 a.m. to check all sources of stagnant water at their homes to eradicate dengue mosquitoes.
- Dengue mosquitoes breed only in clean water.
