- The transfer of ten in-orbit communication satellites to public sector business NSIL, has been authorized by the Union Cabinet.
- Transfer of these assets to NSIL will further provide the desired financial autonomy to the company to realize capital intensive programmes/projects.
- NSIL’s role as a single-window operator will also make conducting business in the space industry easier.
- The commercial conducted its first mission in 20221 when it successfully launched Amazonia-1 and 18 Co-passenger satellites from Srihari Kota.
