- Chief Minister of Tamilnadu launched 15 new ambulances for the 102 service which is used for drop and pick up services for women and new-born children.
- Former CM J Jayalalithaa had first launched the 102 vehicles service in 2013 at Chennai and later it was extended to other districts.
