- The Prime Minister, who has gone to Myanmar, has signed so many agreements to strength the bilateral relations with that country.
- 11 agreements have been signed between India and Myanmar in the matters which include, Providing cooperation in the Maritime Security, Sharing the details about the ships carrying goods within their maritime limits, arranging cultural exchange programs till 2020 between the two, An agreement between Indian and Myanmar election authorities for obtaining technical cooperation in the election matters, agreement between Indian and Myanmar press council, agreement related with the development of Women Police training centre at Yamethin in Myanmar, cooperation in the medical field.
