- 11th Annual MedTech Summit was organised under the Bio Design Programme in New Delhi.
- The Biodesign programme has been implemented by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, jointly at AIIMS and IIT Delhi in collaboration with International partners.
- It aims
- to develop innovative and affordable medical devices as per unmet clinical needs of India
- to train the next generation of medical technology innovators in India for bringing such impactful devices to the real world.
- During the event, the Government has formally launched Noxeno- a nasal foreign body removal device developed by start-up InnAccel Technologies Private Limited, trained under the Biodesign program.
