- Indian Navy and Russian Navy has commenced the 11th edition of a biennial bilateral maritime exercise “INDRA NAVY”.
- The biennial bilateral maritime exercise will be conducted in the Bay of Bengal.
- This year, the bilateral maritime exercise would be undertaken in a ‘non-contact, at sea only’ format amid the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- It is Initiated in 2003 to integrate the long-term strategic relationship between the Navies of India and Russia.
