- Prime Minister Narendra Modi cochaired India-ASEAN summit along with the Vietnamese Prime Minister Ngyuyen Xuan Phuc.
- During the summit, PM announced that India is to contribute 1 million USD to COVID-19 ASEAN Response Fund.
- ASEAN-India Plan of Action for 2021-2025 was also adopted during this summit.
- ASEAN is to become the world largest single market by 2030.
- ASEAN is the fourth largest trading partner of India.
