1st Aspirational Delta Ranking of ABP

- NITI Aayog released the inaugural delta rankings of the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP).
- The rankings were determined based on the performance and progress of the blocks in achieving 40 key performance indicators (KPIs) grouped into 5 themes.
- Approximately 500 blocks from 329 districts across 27 states and 4 Union Territories are part of this programme.
- Tiriyani Block in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district, Telangana, clinched the top spot.
- The second position was secured by Kaushambi block in Kaushambi District, Uttar Pradesh.
- In addition to ABP, the ADP rankings for October 2023 were also announced.
- Rayagada (Odisha) and Jamui (Bihar) claimed the first and second positions, respectively.
