- In the first ever conducted International Institute for Management Development’s (IMD’s) Smart City Index 2019, Hyderabad topped among the Indian cities with the rank of 67.
- It was followed by New Delhi at rank 68. Mumbai and Bengaluru were ranked at the 78th and 79th positions respectively.
- The list was topped by Singapore.
- A total of 102 cities were estimated for the ranking.
- The report was presented by IMD World Competitiveness Centre’s Smart City Observatory in partnership with Singapore University of Technology and Design.
