- ISRO and Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities (ROSCOSMOS) have agreed to worked together for 1st manned space mission Gaganyaan.
- In this regard, ISRO and Russia’s federal space agency Roscosmos have signed MoU.
- Under this MoU ROSCOSMOS has offered ride to Indian astronaut short visit to International Space Station (ISS) on board Soyuz spacecraft.
- ISS is habitable artificial satellite in low Earth orbit.
