- He climbed 3 famous peaks
- Dhodap,
- Jivdhan and
- Naneghat
- These are known to have been ascended by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his Marathi Malvas.
- Sahyadri is a mountain range of Western Ghats, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the eight “hottest hot-spots” of biological diversity in the world.
