- Shahidul Alam from Bangladesh, Mohammad Mosaed from Iran, Dapo Olorunyomi from Nigeria and Svetlana Prokopyeva from Russia will be honoured.
- The lawyer Amal Clooney will be honoured with the Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award 2020.
