- Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed this summit through video conferencing.
- The summit is chaired by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
- The ongoing SCO summit is being attended by the Heads of States of all 8 SCO Member States - Russia, India, China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
- The Heads of States of 4 observer states of SCO- Iran, Afghanistan, Mongolia and Belarus are also participating in the summit.
- It is the third meeting that India is participating in as a full member of the SCO.
- India had become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in 2017.
- The present SCO Summit has ended with the adoption of the Moscow Declaration.
