- The award is instituted by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India.
- During the event, the Standards and Labelling Programme for Air Compressors and Ultra High Definition (UHD) TV on voluntary basis was initiated.
- SAATHEE Portal was also launched.
- State-wise Actions on Annual Targets and Headways on Energy Efficiency (SAATHEE) is a Management Information System (MIS) portal.
- It is an initiative of the Department of Science & Technology.
- The Paradip Refinery of Odisha has won First prize in the “Petroleum Refinery Sector”.
