- The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, graced and addressed the 34th annual session of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) in New Delhi.
- The theme for the 34th Annual Session was WOMEN TRANSFORMING INDIA.
- Commemorating the occasion, FLO recognised 9 Indian Women Achievers with FLO ICON AWARDS, those who have touched the peak of their careers/ businesses and are inspirational leaders in their respective fields.
- First of its kind in India, Gender Parity Index is being created to measure the extent of gender parity in the formal sector.
FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO)
- FLO was established in 1983, as a division of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and industry (FICCI) which is the apex body of industry and commerce in India.
- FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) is the women wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) headquartered in New Delhi.
