- The union sports minister Shri Kiren Rijiju launched the 3rd edition of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) in Guwahati, Assam.
- The games are scheduled to be held from January 10-22, 2020.
- Composite logo, players jersey, mascots and theme song of the 3rd edition of the games was launched during the launch.
- Also, the Assam Olympic Association (AOA) would launch a programme called ‘Grassroot Olympic – Mission Talent Hunt ‘to identify the sports talent in the state and groom them.
