- The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released five sets of survey reports on key socio-economic trends.
- They are
- Household Social Consumption in India: Health (July 2017 to June 2018)
- Household Social Consumption in India: Education (July 2017 to Jun 2018)
- Persons with Disabilities (July 2018 to December 2018)
- Drinking Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Housing Conditions in India (July 2018 to December 2018)
- Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) (January to March 2019)
- The first two reports are part of 76th round of National Sample Survey (NSS) conducted by the National Statistical Office (NSO).
- These third and fourth reports are part of the 75th round of National Sample Survey (NSS).
- NSO was earlier known as the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO).
- All the reports have been signed by NSO Director General Vijay Kumar.
Withheld Report
- In view of “data quality issues” MoSPI has decided ‘not to’ release the results of the all-India Household Consumer Expenditure Survey (2017-18).
