- Jal Jeevan Mission hit 51% completion of the project.
- It aims to supply of 55 litres of water per person per day to every rural household through Functional Household Tap Connections by 2024.
- It has enabled reach to more than 34% now in less than 3 years from 17%.
- Around 1.4 million soak beds have been constructed in schools and Anganwadis to use recycled water in tap connections.
- Haryana, Telangana and Goa, the three states have declared that they have completed the project.
