- The 7th edition of the India Skills Report 2020 for the year 2019-20 was launched.
- Maharashtra emerged as the top ranked state in terms of employability.
- It was followed by Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh in the second and third rank respectively.
- The India Skills Report, is a joint initiative of
- Whee box (global talent-assessment company),
- People Strong and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with UNDP (United Nations Development Programme),
- AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and
- AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
