- The three-member Babri Masjid - Ram Janmabhoomi land dispute case “mediation panel” including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Shriram Panchu headed by former apex court judge FM Kalifulla has submitted its report.
- The efforts to arrive at an amicable settlement through mediation have failed.
- So, the Supreme Court is set to commence day-to-day hearing in the case.
- A five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi will conduct the hearing.
