- The state Government has increased fund allocation under MLA Constituency Development Scheme (MLACDS) from 2.5 crore to 3 crores.
- This is the second time within two years that the government is increasing funds for this scheme.
- The last revision was made in January 2018.
About MLACDS
- The MLACDS is fully funded by the State Government and each MLA identifies and proposes the works to be executed in his Constituency.
- The Scheme is implemented both in rural and urban areas
- The District Collector will accord administrative sanction for the chosen works and will also identify the implementing agency.
