- Air Marshal Arvindra Singh Butola took over as the Commandant of Air Force Academy (AFA) at Dundigal.
- Butola is an alumnus of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and National Defence College, New Delhi.
- For his service, he was awarded with Vayu Sena Medal, Vishist Seva Medal, Chief of Air Staff Commendation and Air Officer Commanding in Chief Commendation.
