- The Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 48th All India Police Science Congress (AIPSC).
- It was organized by the Bureau of Police Research and Development.
- The two-day event was held at the Central Academy of Police Training in Bhopal.
- The main objective of this event is to provide a common platform for various police forces, units, social scientists, forensic experts, and other stakeholders to deliberate on selected themes of topical interest to the Indian police.
- For the first time, the AIPSC will be attended by police forces, units, social scientists, forensic experts and stakeholders along with the officers of the department of correctional administration.
