“Ambitions Beyond Growth” is an annual report published by UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
According to the report, India needs to spend nearly $2 (Rs140) per day per person to remove poverty till 2030 to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
According to the 2014 ‘C Rangarajan committee on Poverty’ report, India has around 363 million people living in poverty.

India is a founding member of UNESCAP.
