- Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced that ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme was being extended to Intermediate students in both government and private colleges and also residential schools and hostels.
- An annual financial assistance of Rs.15000 will be granted to each mother who sends her wards to school or college, under Amma Vodi scheme.
