- The Scientists have found ancient viruses that have been frozen for almost 15,000 years in the Tibetan glaciers.
- The viruses were found in two ice samples that were taken from the Guliya ice cap Tibetan Plateau in China.
- Most of these viruses are unlike any viruses that have been catalogued to date, as they have been remained frozen for thousands of years.
