  • DRDO recently carried out the final user trial of the anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), Nag, at the Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan.
  • It was developed indigenously by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
  • The missile is now ready for induction into the armed forces.
  • It is an Indian third-generation, all-weather, fire-and-forget, lock-on after launch, anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).
  • It can be launched from both - land as well as air-based platforms.
