- The First Apex Conference for CEOs of Smart Cities was held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
- It was organised by Union Urban Affairs Ministry and inaugurated by Minister of State (I/C) for Housing & Urban Affairs.
- The two-day conference was organised for providing platform for cross learning and knowledge sharing among Smart City CEOs.
- Since its launch in June 2015, Smart Cities Mission (SCM) has been one of the most transformational urban missions.
