- Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the state's biggest solar power plant at Energy Awareness Park in Itanagar.
- The project was implemented by the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA).
- The state is working towards the fulfillment of the target set by the Centre for rural electrification within this year under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY).
