- The proceedings of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, which commenced with the Question Hour session, were telecast live for the first time in its history
- The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) live telecasts this.
- DD Podhigai had also done the same apart from the DIPR streaming it live online.
