- 3 anti-submarine warfare ships for Indian Navy were launched at Cochin shipyard.
- The ships will be named INS Mahe, INS Malvan and INS Mangrol.
- The ships are part of the ASW Shallow Water Craft (CSL) project.
- It is being built by Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi.
- These are envisaged to undertake anti-submarine operations in coastal waters as well as Low Intensity Maritime Operations (LIMO) and Mine Laying Operations.
