- The Defence Minister of India launched the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Saptah’ (Atma Nirbhar Week celebration) to focus more on the vision of the government to shift to local manufacturing and ‘Make in India’.
- The main idea behind this is to emphasize the importance of domestic defence production in the country.
