The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) unveiled an Automated Real-Time Performance Smart-board for effective monitoring of the key programmes of the government including Digital India, Aadhaar, Digital Payments, etc.
The performance of the Smart-board is aimed to be single window access for the Central govt., State govt. or District for specific projects implemented by MeitY.
The smart-board is in line with PM's vision for a New Digital India.
During an event to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also unveiled the 'Digital Charkha', an art installation at the IT Ministry.
Digital Charkha is an amalgamation of the traditional design with a digital spin.
