- Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has now introduced a blue coloured 'Baal Aadhaar' card for children below the age of 5 years.
- It will be linked with one of parent’s Aadhaar card.in this No biometric details will be captured.
- when the child does become 5, then he/she has to submit biometric authentication then regular Aadhaar will be issued. Failing to do so within the next 7 years would result in suspension of the Aadhaar card.
