- The Minister for Cooperation in Tamilnadu I.Periya Samy announced that 34 banks-on-wheels will be introduced.
- It will be introduced on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank and all-district central cooperative banks.
- They will provide key banking services, including ATM services.
