- This year is making the 22nd edition of the Bharat Rang Mahotsav.
- It aims to showcase incidents and raise awareness about unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle who have not made to India’s history.
- The National School of Drama (NSD) started the Bharat Rang Mahotsav two decade ago.
- The NSD was established in 1959 by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units.
- In 1975, it became as an autonomous organization under Ministry of Culture.
