- The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has launched the ambitious ‘Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojna’ for the farmers of the state.
- The scheme has launched as a guarantee to ensure reasonable prices to the farmers for their agriculture produces.
- The Price Deficit Financing Scheme to hedge price risks in agriculture wherein farmers will be compensated for distress sales at prices below Union government-announced minimum support prices (MSP).
- Under this scheme, the difference between market value and support price will be paid by the government to the farmers.
