- The Archaeological Survey of India submitted its scientific survey report on the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex.
- The ASI report suggests that Bhojshala was once a significant educational center, established by King Bhoj.
- The Hindu community considers Bhojshala, a 11th-century monument, as a temple of Vagdevi (Goddess Saraswati).
- The Muslim side calls it Kamal Maula Mosque.
- For the last 21 years, the Hindus are allowed to worship in the Bhojshala while Muslims are allowed to offer namaz at the place.
- Sufi saint Maula Kamaluddin Chishti was a disciple of Nizamuddin Auliya.
- He preached here for around 40 years around 1291.
