- The Election commission of India announced election results for the state of Bihar.
- The National Democratic Alliance has won absolute majority winning 125 seats.
- According to the Election commission of India, BJP won 72 seats, the Janata Dal (United) won 42 and the Rastriya Janata Dal had won 75 seats.
- Tejashwi Yadav-led RJD emerged as the single-largest party in Bihar.
